#don't even get me started on people who think that women who skip education in the first place to launch into babymaking are also a waste...
An educated woman is never a waste
It’s like people pretend her education is locked inside of her and she’s mentally trapped and can’t be a service to her community/teach her children/continue to grow and learn because obviously that was important to her in the first place
When you refuse someone their experiences because they don’t immediately launch into a career (because somehow children prevent that? because stay at home moms aren’t allowed to freelance or work from home or gasp maybe one day their kids will grow up and move out and they can go back to doing whatever it was they got their degree for after making a life decision that was perfectly agreeable to them?)
Education is malleable, and so is experience, and saying that the first is shut down by choosing a certain form of the latter is so incredibly narrow-minded it’s rather appalling
